This home offers a retreat to escape daily routine and find a balance between tranquility and activity. Located just a few hours from Mexico City, the six-house complex provides spaces designed for the whole family—ideal for both remote work and enjoying nature and outdoor activities.
Designed by architect Alonso de Garay, the project balances contemporary living with the natural beauty of Valle. Situated in Rancho Avándaro, it is part of a community that prioritizes safety, privacy, and harmony with the environment, integrating architecture and landscape organically
More than a residential complex, it is a way of experiencing life in Valle de Bravo. With direct access to a club and golf course, and sports like water skiing, paddleboarding, tennis, horseback riding, hiking trails, and a nursery, every space encourages enjoyment, relaxation, and connection with nature in a serene and secure setting
Alonso de Garay (ADG):
Alonso de Garay conceives architecture as a dialogue between design, context, and heritage. His practice begins with a deep analysis of each project and its surroundings, seeking to intervene thoughtfully and create lasting connections between people and spaces.
Taller ADG integrates architecture, interior design, and urban planning with an interdisciplinary approach that enhances creativity and experience for each collaborator. Every project is treated as a collaborative process, where ideas are developed, tested, and refined until clear and functional solutions emerge.
Each intervention reflects sensitivity and precision. Spaces combine contemporary design with respect for the memory of the place, adapting over time and to those who inhabit them. Architecture that does not impose, but rather accompanies, offering meaningful and memorable experiences.
Valle de Bravo is a place where the lake and forest meet in harmony. Mornings awaken with mist over the water and the birds’ song, while evenings fall under warm skies and the constant whisper of pines. Life here follows a different rhythm: more serene, closer to nature and community
What draws us to Valle de Bravo is its natural and cultural balance. The lake blends with mountain trails, homes coexist with vegetation, and local life integrates respectfully with tourism. It is a place that invites observation, enjoyment, and belonging—without rush or artifice.
Here, each sunrise is an opportunity to gaze at the horizon, and each day is lived with the calm of the essential. Valle de Bravo does not seek to impose itself; it reveals itself with simplicity. In that honesty, between the strength of the lake and the stillness of the forest, lies its deepest beauty.
