El Bosque is a residential sanctuary set within 120 hectares of pristine nature at Rancho Avándaro, Valle de Bravo. More than a luxury development, it is an invitation to inhabit the forest with balance and purpose. Surrounded by lakes, rivers, and trees, it offers a way of life where comfort and nature coexist in harmony
Designed by CHAIN + SIMAN, the project blends architecture and interior design in perfect dialogue with its surroundings. Clean lines, noble materials, and open spaces define a sober and serene architecture, where light and landscape take center stage.
A refuge to rest, share, and reconnect: living at El Bosque means living with intention, embraced by calm and essential beauty.
Renatta Chain is an architect and designer based in Mexico City, whose work is defined by a constant exploration of the intersection between the functional, the aesthetic, and the emotional. Her practice unfolds at the crossroads of interior design, architecture, and art, with a deeply human approach that seeks to evoke sensations, tell stories, and create inhabitable atmospheres.
With a refined sensitivity to detail and materials, her studio has shaped residential, commercial, and cultural spaces distinguished by their balance of warmth, sophistication, and authenticity. An intimate scale, a restrained palette, and the use of natural elements are constants in her language—alongside a meticulous attention to light, texture, and composition.
Valle de Bravo is a retreat among the mountains, where forest, mist, and lake set the rhythm of the days. It is a place that invites both stillness and movement—silent contemplation as much as outdoor adventure.
At the heart of this setting lies Rancho Avándaro, a development that celebrates life in close contact with nature. Here, daily activities—horseback riding, harvesting from the garden, wandering along trails—become simple and meaningful rituals. The architecture integrates into the landscape with respect, allowing light, climate, and earth to be an essential part of the experience.
What defines this place is not ostentation, but authenticity. Living in Rancho Avándaro means finding luxury in the essential: clean air, the calm of the surroundings, and connection with the natural world. It is to inhabit with intention, surrounded by serene beauty and quiet fullness.
