Bernardo Quinzaños Oria (born in Mexico City in 1984) pursued his studies in Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana, graduating in 2007. He embarked on his career in the arts and has been actively involved in numerous exhibitions both in Mexico and abroad. He has undertaken various projects related to architecture, sustainability, and technology. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Executive Officer within his architectural firm, CCA.
Bernardo Quinzaños understands architecture as an exercise in awareness and purpose. His vision begins with observing the context and the conviction that space can trigger profound experiences beyond styles or trends
Each project is conceived as a whole: from architectural conception to the definition of atmospheres and materials, where the physical and intangible intertwine to create meaningful experiences.
His work is distinguished by sobriety and clarity—serene spaces that engage with their surroundings, invite pause, and propose new ways of inhabiting the world.
On January 18, 2023, we visited the Centro de Colaboración Arquitectónica (CCA) workshop in Mexico City, founded by Bernardo Quinzaños in 2008. This space stands as a sanctuary of creativity, dedicated to the research and development of architectural/urban projects with the focus of generating a positive impact on society. Guided by Bernardo, we embarked on a journey through his creations, each one a narrative that fused history and future. CCA not only designs buildings but seeks to transcend and leave a mark in every context and within the community.
