Caimán is an oceanfront residential development located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, conceived to integrate seamlessly with the Pacific coastline and the relaxed lifestyle that defines the region. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, expansive beaches, and a growing cultural and culinary scene, the project offers a residential experience deeply connected to nature and life by the ocean.
The development comprises 3 residences and 15 villas designed to maximize the relationship between indoor and outdoor living. Private terraces, open layouts, and shared amenities allow natural light, ocean breezes, and the surrounding landscape to become part of the everyday experience, creating calm and inviting environments connected to their setting.
Beyond its residential offering, Caimán incorporates services and amenities inspired by boutique hospitality, including an infinity pool, beach club, lounge areas, yoga spaces, and communal gathering areas. The project proposes a way of living in Puerto Escondido where privacy, well-being, and proximity to the sea become part of daily life.
The architecture of Caimán was developed by Bloqe Arquitectura, a design studio that approaches projects through a comprehensive process spanning research, conceptual development, architectural design, executive planning, and interior design. Their work is characterized by a constant pursuit of integration with the surrounding environment and the creation of spaces that generate meaningful experiences for those who inhabit them.
At Caimán, this approach translates into an architecture that responds to the coastal landscape of Puerto Escondido, taking advantage of the site’s natural conditions to promote ventilation, daylight, and a continuous connection with the outdoors. The layout of the villas and residences balances functional efficiency with a spatial experience centered on relaxation, privacy, and life by the sea.
